Hey there, sunshine seekers! We totally get it – in Florida, it's almost like the weather has a mind of its own, and rain is just part of the package. But fear not! Here at Great Day Boat Tours, we're pros at dancing in the rain. If a little shower pops up, we'll do our best to work around it and still give you an amazing experience on the water. And if the clouds decide to throw us a full-on storm party and we can't set sail, no worries! We won't weigh you down with upfront payments or deposits. Instead, we'll bend over backward to find a new date that floats your boat. 

Life happens, and we get it—sometimes your plans change as quickly as the tide. No worries! At Great Day Boat Tours, we keep it simple: no deposits, no stress. All we ask is that you give us a heads-up as soon as possible (at least 24 hours is ideal) so we can find another crew ready to join one of our customized tours. Whether you're hunting for sharks' teeth, shelling, or simply enjoying the Gulf breeze, we’re here to make your adventure unforgettable. Just drop us a line, and we’ll take care of the rest. Easy breezy, like a day on calm waters!

USCG regulations limit the number of passengers for our charters to 6 people, this includes infants and children. If you have a party larger than 6, please let us know, as we have additional boats that can be booked for an extra fee, to accommodate up to an additional 6 passengers. 

Absolutely. We will provide a cooler with ice, and bottled water. You are welcome to bring drinks and snacks. For safety reasons, glass containers are discouraged. 

Yes, there is a marine head (a fancy way of saying "boat bathroom") on board! However, it’s tucked into a small compartment where space is, shall we say, cozy—you won’t be able to stand up inside. Restroom breaks along the way are limited, but we’ll be sure to point them out and happily stop if anyone needs to use the facilities. For maximum comfort, we recommend using the restroom before boarding so you can focus on enjoying the adventure!

Our boat has an oversized bimini top to provide plenty of shade and an open bow for ample sunshine. The Florida sunshine can be brutal and you can sunburn quickly even on cloudy days.

• Bring hat, sunglasses, swimsuit, long sleeved shirts or coverup, 
• beach towels, 
• reef safe sunscreen, (no aerosols, or oils).
• flipflops or water shoes
• Beverages of your choice 
• Food and snacks
• A smiling attitude and be ready for a GREAT time

What about electronics, sunglasses, and other personal items?
Remember, we’re on a boat—things can get wet, and the sea has a way of claiming its treasures! While we love keeping adventures stress-free, you are responsible for your own personal devices, sunglasses, and other belongings. If something takes an unexpected plunge, our captains will do their best to retrieve hats or floating sunglasses, but we can’t make any promises about electronics or non-floaters. Pack smart and consider a strap or case for your valuables to keep them shipshape! 

• Spray-on sunscreens or lotions with oils, dyes, or tanners.  We take pride in keeping Great Day clean and shiny for all our guests, and those products can leave stains that are harder to remove than barnacles on a hull! If you’ve got spray sunscreen, we kindly ask you to apply it on the dock before boarding.
• Red wine and berry juice? We’d prefer you leave those landlubber libations behind, as spills can make our white cushions blush permanently.  That said, if it’s your favorite drink, bring it aboard—just be careful not to rock the boat! 
• Bad attitudes. These are absolutely not allowed. Bring your best vibes, your sense of adventure, and a smile—we promise you’ll have a "Great Day" to remember!

Get ready for a game of hide-and-seek! Dolphins and manatees are the masters of their own schedules, and sometimes they just don't feel like following our Captains' orders. But fear not! Our Captains have a knack for sniffing out their favorite hangouts, boasting an impressive 90% success rate in dolphin sightings. But hey, even these underwater adventurers need their alone time. No worries though – we've got a boatload of other marine marvels to keep the excitement flowing.
